Nancy opened Cadence’s Austin Trust Office (then Southwest Guaranty Trust) in 2003 and is recognized nationally for her expertise in administration of complex trust and estate issues, including special needs trust administration.

Nancy attended The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas-Pan American. She began her career in the Central Texas Advantage Office with the nation’s fifth-largest bank in Austin in 1985. Nancy has served on the Conference Faculty and Planning Committee and has been a Speaker/Author for the Special Needs Trust Continuing Legal Education (CLE) with The University of Texas (UT) Law School since 2004. She has also spoken at the Stetson University Law School’s Special Needs Trust CLE and was a Speaker/Author and Chair of the “Planning for People With Disabilities” and “Trust Administrative Officers’ Seminar” with the Texas Bankers Association.
 

She has served as a faculty member at the annual Texas Trust School at SMU in Dallas and on the Education Committee with the Texas Bankers Association. Since 2004, Nancy has served as a Planning Committee member for the Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Guardianship CLEs sponsored by the State Bar of Texas and the UT Law School.

Nancy has served as an officer and held membership in the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas, the San Antonio Estate Planning Council, and the San Antonio Probate Group.
