Renée Lovelace is an attorney with The Lovelace Law Firm, P.C. She has a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business, and a B.A. in psychology from Oral Roberts University.

In 1997, she was certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation as authorized by the American Bar Association and as recognized by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She is an emeritus member of the Special Needs Alliance, an organization of attorneys who focus on special needs trusts and special needs planning.

Renée has served in the past as Elder Law Editor for the State Bar of Texas Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Reporter and as President of the Texas Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She was a primary drafter of the first Arc of Texas Master Pooled Trust in 1996. She has been active in many advocacy and disability support organizations as a board member, organization member, and volunteer, and has been a family caregiver for over 30 years. She has written over 100 articles on special needs planning, special needs trusts, and elder law.
