Aurora L. Basa is a senior lead fiduciary advisory specialist and an executive director with Wells Fargo Bank within the Wealth & Investment Management Division located in Pasadena, California, and covers the San Diego, Los Angeles Metro and Southern Pacific regions, as well as Utah.
Ms. Basa works directly with individuals living with diverse abilities along with their family, support system, and other advisors. She is part of the relationship team for clients who are the beneficiaries of First Party Special Needs Trusts (SNTs), Third Party SNTs, and Settlement Protection Trusts. Ms. Basa assists her clients in coordinating services and resources that can help improve their quality of life and facilitates conversations with investment strategists to align investment objectives with the client’s short and long-term needs.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo Bank, Ms. Basa was a practicing trusts and estates attorney in Los Angeles, California where she specialized in the drafting and administration of special needs trusts.
While not currently practicing, Aurora earned her juris doctor degree from Loyola Law School and her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a published author in the field of special needs trust administration.
Ms. Basa is an active member of the California State Bar, although currently not practicing, and is a past member of the Trusts and Estates Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She actively works with non-profit organizations, such as The Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and The Adult Skills Center (TASC).
