Chris is a partner with Fitzwater Law, a small boutique estate planning and elder law firm located in Portland, OR.  His practice focuses on estate planning and planning for people with special needs, adult guardianship/conservatorship, probate, and Medicaid. He received his J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law.

He is a member the Elder Law Section and Estate Planning Section of the Oregon State Bar, the Elder Law Section and Real Property, Probate, and Trust Section Washington State Bar, NAELA, and ASNP. He frequently speaks on special needs planning, adult guardianship, and Medicaid for different groups of folks from attorneys and other professionals to families who have loved ones that experience disability. He can often be found with his nose buried book.
