Stress and stressful conditions for lawyers and judges is a hazard of the legal profession and can lead to high levels of mental health and substance use disorders. When working under high levels of stress, our thinking and decision making can become impaired and less optimal. This presentation will help identify the most common errors in thinking and decision-making when under stress and provide practical proven approaches to avoiding them and achieving desired outcomes.
