Speaker Bio
George Constant’s estate planning practice focuses on helping individuals and families enhance their lives today and secure their futures tomorrow. He excels in guiding his clients through the often confusing maze of financial and legal decisions to create plans that ensure the well-being of their families and the accomplishment of cherished family and personal goals. His considerable legal expertise includes family protection, wealth preservation, and values-based estate planning, as well as planning strategies for unmarried couples and divorced individuals. Whether you are married or single, with a traditional family or blended one, just starting out or looking back on a life well-lived, George will help you to craft a plan that achieves your goals for your loved ones today and for years to come.
George holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Boston University School of Law, and a Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Skidmore College, where years later he proudly served as a Director on the Alumni Board. Prior to starting his own practice, George was associated with a downtown Boston Trusts & Estates firm, where he represented high-net-worth families and their businesses. George has also served as a consultant to both local and internationally renowned charitable organizations seeking to advance their missions through charitable gift planning. George serves as an adjunct faculty member at Salem State College, teaching estate planning in the Graduate Certificate Program in Financial Planning. He is also a member of Wealth Counsel, LLC, a national organization of trusts and estates attorneys and other legal, tax and business professionals who design sophisticated planning techniques for individuals and families.
George enjoys educating his community and is a frequently requested lecturer for private industry, community groups and charitable organizations. His presentation topics include family wealth planning, wealth preservation, and asset protection of inheritances. In addition, George has been featured as an estate planning expert on financial radio programs. George has chosen to concentrate on the Trusts and Estates area because he is passionate about helping families and individuals ensure the proper stewardship of their legacies and create happy and secure futures.
When he’s not working, George enjoys spending time with his wife Joan, and their two sons, Dean and John. An avid soccer fan and certified “Soccer Dad,” George travels to the far ends of Massachusetts (and beyond) most weekends to watch his kids play the ultimate team sport.
