Jason has helped coutless clients work through legal issues involving estate planning, estate adminstration, real estate, and business law. He has also represented plaintiffs and defendants in hundreds of lawsuits, and has tried a wide range of cases to jury verdict or hung jury. Jason has extensive experience representing farmers, rural landowners, and small businesses involved in the agricultural and forest products industries.
After graduating from N.C. State University, Jason worked as a procurement forester for two small timber companies. He then attended law school at Campbell University, where he served as managing editor of the Campbell Law Review.
For the first six years of his practice, Jason was an associate and then a shareholder at Rose Rand Wallace Attorneys, P.A., where he primarily handled civil litigation for municipalities and corporations. He established a solo practice in 2011 to concentrate on meting the needs of individuals and small businesses.
Jason is admitted to practice in all North Carolina state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina, and the U.S. Appeals Court for the Fourth Circuit.
Jason has been married to his wife Amity since 1995, and they have two children. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, hunting, and running.
