As a Wealth Strategist, Darcy directs wealth planning by providing analysis and advanced wealth planning strategies to help high net worth clients work toward their goals. Darcy began her career in the banking and financial services in 1987. She subsequently practiced as an accountant, in-house counsel, business leader, practicing attorney and in financial services leadership. Prior to joining U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management, Darcy worked as an estates, trusts and business law attorney in Reno, Nevada. As a practicing attorney, Darcy designed and drafted holistic, client centric estate plans tying clients’ goals and values to written plans. Her favorite projects were planning for business owners who sought tax-efficient wealth transfer with a focus on retaining a resilient family and business environment  after the transition, utilizing philanthropy as a cornerstone of the family’s lasting legacy. 

Darcy is an active member in her local and professional communities. She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and admitted to practice in Nevada where she is a member of the trusts and estates and business law sections. She is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. Darcy has served as the Past President of the Northern Nevada Estate Planning Council and continues to serve on the Council Relations Committee and the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee for the National Association of Estate Planning Councils. Darcy serves as an advisor on the University of Nevada Reno, Planned Giving Advisory Council and is a member of the Northern Nevada Planned Giving Roundtable. She sits on the Steering Committee and is a member of the Northern Nevada Succession Advisors Roundtable. Darcy serves as a board member for the Western Nevada College Foundation and the Wealth Counsel Nevada Forum. In addition, Darcy is a board member and treasurer for the Veterans Guest House. Darcy is also a Wrangler with the Reno Rodeo and serves on the Sponsors Committee.

Darcy has been a resident of Northern Nevada for 28 years, with family ties to several of the western states. She enjoys Pilates, skiing, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.
