We are excited to welcome WealthCounsel's Manager of Trusts and Estates Education, Phoebe Stone, to present "Marital Share Funding Options ." When creating an estate plan for a married couple, there are many different options available to divide and fund marital and nonmarital shares. In this presentation, we will review foundational tax considerations relevant to share design and funding; review common funding formulas and choices, discussing how each one works and reviewing visual diagrams; and discuss and demystify common yet sometimes confusing terminology.
