Brad Wiewel is a Board Certified Texas estate planning attorney with a state-wide practice. He brings experience, enthusiasm and concern for his clients to the planning process. Brad helped support himself while attending college and law school. He received a B.A. from the University of Illinois in 1974, and graduated from St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio with distinction (Top 10%) in 1978. He then served as a briefing attorney for a Texas appellate court. Brad enjoys sharing his legal knowledge with the public. He currently teaches in the University of Texas CFP training program, and has taught continuing education classes to CPAs at St. Edward’s University. He currently conducts education programs for financial service and insurance professionals. He has also been a featured legal columnist for the Austin American-Statesman. He is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is licensed to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals – 5th Circuit, United States District Court – Western District of Texas, and the State Courts of Texas. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Studies in Wealth and Estate Strategiessponsored in conjunction with Michigan State University, and is the creator of LifePlanning Legal Services™, which provides his clients with a formal updating program for their estate plans. Brad formerly hosted LAW TALK WITH BRAD, a weekly radio call-in show for estate planning issues. He has a very patient wife, Cindy, and they have three sons, all of whom are Eagle Scouts.
