Name
Estate Planning Under the New Tax Law
Date & Time
Tuesday, July 31, 2018, 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM
David Cahoone
Description
Recent tax reform has, among other changes, temporarily doubled the estate and generation-skipping transfer tax exemptions. Such changes may have rendered more traditional estate planning techniques ineffective for certain clients and created greater opportunities for others. This session discusses estate planning opportunities created by the changes to the tax laws, and how such plans should be made flexible in order to remain viable after the changes sunset in a few years.
