Jessica M. Pannell, JD, is an Estate Planning Strategist at Cassaday & Company, Inc. She is a specialist in trust administration and probate issues and works collaboratively with families through all phases of their legacy planning. She has a special affinity for families with young children and enjoys the process of strategizing for their long-term benefit. Jessica earned a paralegal certificate from the Georgetown University Legal Assistant Program and was employed in a Maryland attorney’s office for several years where she was responsible for ascertaining and valuing assets, funding trusts, initiating and overseeing estate and probate administration, and coordinating trust administration for client families. In 2001, Jessica graduated with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law and was soon admitted to the Maryland bar. She was admitted to the Virginia Bar in September 2002.
Jessica serves as an adjunct legal advisor to the Cancer Center Book Project, an affiliate of The Write-Away Group, a non-profit support program for cancer survivors in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. She also serves on the Legacy Planning Advisory Committee of the Virginia Hospital Center Foundation. In addition, she is an accomplished speaker who is sought after by civic groups, women’s clubs, and organizations whose members wish to educate themselves regarding sophisticated approaches to estate planning, especially for women at all stages of life.
