Asset protection trusts come in all shapes and sizes. But choosing the right one for your client can be a challenge. This presentation will examine protections that can be built into revocable living trusts (such as spendthrift clauses or ascertainable standards) as well as special purpose trusts (like domestic asset protection trusts (DAPT)) and the use of specific states or foreign jurisdictions for asset protection.
