This session will provide a hands-on review of how business interests should be transferred to revocable trusts and what happens when the owner of a business dies. Attendees will leave being able to

• identify the steps required to properly transfer closely-held business interests to a trust,
• recognize common funding and governance mistakes that undermine estate plans, and
• anticipate postdeath administration challenges involving business assets.
