Too often, real estate owners fail to plan and thus plan to fail, leaving their family at odds with one another and ripe for infighting. In this session, the presenter will focus on helping families pass to their beneficiaries real estate that they hope will remain in the family—be it a lake house, beach house, French chalet, or income-producing property. He will address various concerns, including estate taxes, ongoing expenses, maintenance, improvements, and permitted and continued use of such properties.
