Landon J. Sandberg is the founder of Sandberg, Stettler & White, where his areas of expertise are Medicaid planning, estate planning, and VA pension planning. Mr. Sandberg started his professional career as a Medicare insurance agent where he gained experience working with seniors and their health-related concerns. He then co-founded Utah Senior Planning in Kaysville, Utah, which specializes in asset preservation strategies including the use of financial products in Medicaid planning. While in law school, he founded Iowa Senior Planning which works closely with financial professionals and skilled nursing facilities to help families and Medicaid applicants through the Medicaid maze, advising clients on how they can legally protect any remaining assets they might have. During law school, Mr. Sandberg worked for an elder law firm for two and a half years where he focused on legal-based strategies to preserve assets for Veterans and Medicaid applicants.
Mr. Sandberg is a member of WealthCounsel; National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA); and the Utah State Bar. He is a VA-accredited attorney and is a frequent lecturer for the National Business Institute and Attorneys across the country on topics such as Medicare, estate planning, Medicaid, and VA benefits. He also conducts seminars regularly for nursing home administrators and social workers. Mr. Sandberg earned his B.A. degree from Weber State University and his J.D. degree from Drake University.
