Jnana Settle is the owner and Managing Attorney of The Settle Law Firm, PLLC, where she serves consumer and commercial clients in the areas of estate planning, probate, and the title industry. She enjoys solving puzzles of all kinds, including those of the heirship and asset structuring variety. Her working hours are split between issues of “death law” and “dirt law,” with a particular focus on those matters where the two overlap.

Jnana obtained her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, in her home state of Hawai’i. Eventually, she settled in Texas and obtained her J.D. from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University. When asked (frequently) why she moved from Hawai’i to Texas, she’s fond of replying, “Well . . . I got here as soon as I could!” After traveling and schooling all over the world, she’s very happy these days to boast a five-minute commute from home to office.
