Amber joined ACF in July of 2022 as a Senior Philanthropic Advisor. In this role, she works closely with the team to expand development of complex asset gifts. Amber serves as a relationship manager to a portfolio of fundholders and legacy donors, works on new fund and planned gift development and leads the promotion and cultivation of complex asset gift opportunities.

Amber is a former estate planning attorney and has been serving most recently as a Sr. Director of Philanthropy, Estate & Major Gifts at the Desert Botanical Garden. In this role, Amber led advancement programs, helped donors craft their planned, major and capital gifts to support the Garden’s operating fund, endowment, and strategic initiatives. Amber served on the Editorial Advisory Group for Public Garden magazine and is a past board member of Planned Giving Round Table of Arizona and Arizona Center for the Blind. In addition to her technical background, having practiced law for six years, Amber has a deep knowledge of fundraising and the nonprofit community. Amber received her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning from Arizona State University.

Lisa Stratton is a Senior Philanthropic Advisor for the Arizona Community Foundation. She oversees ACF’s professional advisor outreach system, including the Professional Advisory Board, whose 40+ members provide strategic planning, guidance, and oversight to ACF. Lisa also leads asset development activities for the Kellenberger + Tollefson Center for LGBTQ Philanthropy. She works closely with donors and professional advisors to cultivate lifetime and planned charitable gift opportunities, while serving as the relationship manager for a portfolio of fundholders and legacy donors.

Prior to ACF, Lisa served as Individual Gifts Manager at Southwest Human Development where her responsibilities included launching the organization’s first individual giving program and implementing a stewardship plan to increase donor retention. Lisa has also held positions at the Volunteer Center of Lubbock and Texas Tech University. Lisa received her associate’s degree from Arizona Western College and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Lubbock Christian University. She is an Arizona native, born and raised in Yuma.
