Registration

The presessions for the ASNP National Conference will be offered on Thursday, March 27. The main event will begin with opening remarks at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, March 28, and conclude at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 29.

Academy of Special Needs Planners National Conference attendees can expect the following:

  • Full access to the sessions included in the package you select when you register
  • Access to numerous exhibitors and vendors in the Exhibit Hall
  • Light breakfast offered Friday and Saturday, as well as Thursday for those who have purchased presessions
  • Multiple networking and community activities, including a welcome reception
  • Coffee service during breaks
  • Complimentary event mobile app
  • Welcome reception on Thursday, March 27

Please note that registration fees for ASNP do not include dinner or transportation.

There are three packages to choose from when you register:

  • Presessions + National Conference
  • Presessions Only
  • National Conference Only

If you select a package that includes presessions, you will be prompted to select and purchase the presessions you would like to attend.

Sharing a registration is not permitted, and prorated fees are not available.

The Academy of Special Needs Planners National Conference will not be recorded.

Materials will be made available prior to the start of the Academy of Special Needs Planners National Conference. 

The Academy of Special Needs Planners National Conference events, including the presessions and welcome reception, are open exclusively to registered attendees. These activities are focused on building rapport among colleagues and law firm teams, and strengthening member-to-member connections. Attendees are asked to wear their name badge at all times during the event.

Accommodations

You can take advantage of the discounted room rates at The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter and book online after you register for the conference. The discounted rate is based on availability. Use the link on the confirmation page after you register, or in your confirmation email.  

The discounted WealthCounsel room rate is $289 plus tax* over the conference dates. This rate is based on availability, and is only available for registered attendees. The deadline to book your hotel room is Wednesday, March 5, and discounted rooms are limited! Please note, a 48-hour cancellation penalty applies to all room reservations.

The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is located at 910 Broadway Circle in San Antonio, approximately 3 miles from the San Diego International Airport (SAN). 

Taxis and ride-share companies are available for booking at your discretion.

Attire

Sessions and events are held at The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. Business casual dress is encouraged. Large hotel meeting rooms can often feel chilly, so you may want to bring a sweater if you tend to get cold. Please note that badges will be required for entry.

Should you enjoy arrangements at other restaurant or entertainment venues outside of the hotel, we recommend checking for any required dress codes.

Refunds and Cancellations

 

The following policy applies to refunds of registration fees due to an individual's cancellation of their registration for the Academy of Special Needs Planners National Conference and any presessions:

  • No refunds of registration fees will be made in excess of the amount actually paid by the registrant for the registration.
  • A registrant who cancels registration(s) on or before January 6, 2025, will receive a full refund of all registration fees minus a $100 cancellation fee.
  • A registrant who cancels between January 7, 2025, and February 14, 2025, will receive a refund of 50 percent of their registration fees.
  • A registrant who cancels registration(s) on or after February 15, 2025, will not receive a refund of any registration fees. One hundred percent of the registration fee will be forfeited, but such registrants will be entitled to receive event materials.
  • Tickets or tuition are not transferable to anyone outside of your firm.
