Rehan Hasan is the founder of Hasan, LLC, an award-winning business law firm based in Denver. His broad experience in corporate law extends through the full lifecycle of a business, from start-up funding and building contracts to sales, mergers, and acquisitions—and everyday corporate legal services at each point in between. He provides high-level legal services for companies of all sizes. He works with his corporate clients on a variety of issues including strategic legal problem-solving, tactical taxation issues, and global business development.
Rehan’s experience and education set him apart from other business attorneys in Colorado and beyond. He earned a law degree from the California Western School of Law and a LL.M. in Taxation from New York University, one of the most prestigious tax law programs in the country. He also holds a M.A. in International Relations and Politics from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and a B.A. in History from the University of Las Vegas. Rehan is a businessperson as well as a business attorney. He co-founded Galvanize, a multi-million dollar tech startup incubator and co-founded InCubate with The Aspen Institute, the first ever business incubator between the US and Cuba. He also co-founded Kenzie Academy, a tech school that does not charge students tuition until they secure a job in their field paying a living wage.
Although much awarded for his excellence as outside corporate counsel and as a leader in the technology community, Rehan is also a champion of diversity, an adjunct law school professor, and a prolific volunteer in the art, legal, and tech communities. His law practice is intentionally approachable, and he is always ready to help someone with a corporate or tax legal issue.
