Attorney Stephen Liss is a Partner at Dungey Dougherty PLLC. His practice focuses on the needs of wealthy individuals and families, their businesses, and charities. His extensive experience includes domestic and international trust and estate planning, tax minimization, advanced life insurance strategies, and planned charitable giving.
Stephen has authored or co-authored more than 40 articles. A frequent lecturer, he has spoken at numerous industry conferences including the Notre Dame Tax & Estate Planning Institute, the ABA RPTE National CLE Conference, the ABA Tax Section Midyear Meeting, the New York State Society of CPAs Private Wealth Conference, PLI International Estate & Tax Planning conference, the Great Plains Federal Tax Institute, the Federal Tax Institute of New England, and STEP Johannesburg.
Stephen is an ACTEC Fellow and rated by Chambers for Private Wealth Law- New York. He previously chaired the Estate and Gift Tax Committee of the Real Property, Trust & Estate Section of the American Bar Association and currently Co-Chairs the Income and Transfer Tax Planning Group.
