Registration

Symposium 2020 will be the week of July 20 at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center. Precursor Intensives will be offered on Monday, July 20 and Tuesday, July 21. The main event will begin with opening remarks at 7:00am MT on Wednesday, July 22 and conclude at 12:00pm MT on Friday, July 24.

However, our early bird registration deadline is April 30 and the Symposium hotel room rate cut-off is June 29. For any questions or concerns regarding cancellations, please refer to the cancellation/refund policy below.

Please note that certain package quantities are limited and pricing will increase as we get closer to Symposium, so it’s best to purchase your preferred package as soon as possible.

Symposium 2020 attendees can expect:

Please note that registration fees for Symposium do not include dinner or transportation.

Symposium 2020 tracks will include Core and Advanced T&E, Business Law, Paraprofessional, Practice Success and Specialty. Precursors are Tax Intensive, Trust Administration Intensive, and RLT Drafting Intensive. The full agenda is still being finalized now and will be announced soon.
To modify or add sessions to your registration, please visit the link below and sign in with the email and password you used to register. Follow the prompts to the Agenda page to choose your sessions. Once chosen, click Continue to move through the end of the process and save your selections (and pay any additional fees that may have incurred with your choices). Please note that you are able to filter the agenda list to make specific selections in a variety of ways including by date, session type and track. Click here to modify or select sessions.
All Symposium 2020 attendees will receive a copy of the Symposium 2020 audio recordings included with their registration. Recordings and instructions for downloading the files will be available to attendees approximately one month after Symposium.

Refunds and Cancellations

What is the cancellation / refund policy? How do I cancel my registration?
The following policy applies for refunds of registration fees on cancellation of Symposium 2020 and Symposium’s Precursor Intensives:
  • No refunds of registration fees will be made in excess of the amount actually paid by the registrant for the registration.
  • A registrant who cancels registration(s) on or before May 31, 2020, will receive a full refund of all registration fees.
  • A registrant who cancels registration(s) on or after June 1, 2020, will receive no refund of any registration fees. 100% of the registration fee will be forfeited.

To cancel your registration, please sign in with the email and password you used to register and continue to the “Additional People” page. On that tab you will find Registrant Details. By clicking on the “x” to the right of the registrant, this will cancel the registration. We are planning multiple networking and community activities for your entertainment and enjoyment including an exhibitor reception, member appreciation reception, first-time Symposium attendee gathering and much more. Stay tuned for more information!
Symposium 2020 events, including receptions and other community or networking activities, are exclusively open to registered attorney and paraprofessional attendees. These activities are focused on building rapport among colleagues and law firm teams and strengthening member-to-member connections. Attendees are asked to wear the proper name badge at all times throughout the event.

The Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center is situated in the heart of downtown Denver offering expansive views of the Rocky Mountains and the city’s dramatic skyline. Adjacent to Colorado Convention Center and just one block from shopping and dining on 16th Street Mall, this contemporary luxury hotel is close to some of the city’s most popular historic, cultural and entertainment venues. The Denver International Airport (DEN) is 25 miles or 37 minutes to the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center. Transportation is available via A Line Commuter Train, Bus, Shuttles, Limousines, Mountain Carriers, Public Bus Service, Ride App Services, Shared-Ride Services and Taxicabs (scheduled on own and pricing not included with Symposium registration). As of January 15, 2020, the A Line Commuter Train is $10.50 one- way from the Denver Int'l Airport to the Denver Union Station. Denver Union Station is approximately 0.9 mile walk to the hotel or a $5-$7 Uber ride. The last day to book your hotel room at the discounted sleeping room rate is June 29, 2020.

Meals

A light breakfast and catered lunch will be offered Wednesday-Thursday. All-day coffee service and snacks (during breaks) will be available throughout the week. Hors d'oeuvres will be offered at the exhibitor and member appreciation receptions.

There is an opportunity to indicate any special dietary restrictions during the registration process. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Attire

Symposium sessions and events are held at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center. Business casual dress is encouraged. Large hotel meeting rooms can often feel chilly, so you may want to bring a sweater if you tend to get cold. Please note that badges will be required for entry.

Symposium App

A complimentary event mobile app will be offered again this year! More information about the app will be available closer to the event. We will communicate additional details and instructions on event app availability, how to download, how to login, and how to navigate the app in the coming months.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

During our 3-day Symposium, July 22 - 24, 2020, you can earn at least 10.0 general credit hours, depending on your session agenda choices (some of your choices may not be CLE eligible). Please note, we are still finalizing the sessions and will update CLE credit amounts as we move closer to the event.
 
During our Monday & Tuesday afternoon Precursors, July 20 & 21, 2020, you can earn up to 6 credit hours each day, depending on your agenda choices (some of your choices may not be CLE eligible).

CFP: There will be no approved CFP credits offered; you must self-apply. We will provide you with any information you may need to do so.
