You can register for Symposium 2019, by clicking this link. There is no cut-off date for registration.
Different packages, their current pricing, and descriptions are all available on the website. Please note that certain package quantities are limited and pricing will increase as we get closer to Symposium, so it’s best to purchase your preferred package as soon as possible. Symposium registrants, in addition to full access to all sessions at the Boston Park Plaza hotel, can typically expect:
- Access to Tuesday’s Pre-Cursor Intensives at no additional charge
- Access to the exhibit room and The Hub
- A light breakfast offered Wednesday-Friday
- All-day coffee service Snacks during breaks
Please note that registration fees for Symposium do not include lunch, dinner, or transportation.
Registrants for the Paraprofessional Symposium at the Boston Public Library, in addition to a full-day of sessions on July 31, can expect:
- A light breakfast
- All-day coffee service
- Snacks during breaks
- A catered lunch
- Access to Symposium’s exhibit room and The Hub at the Boston Park Plaza
- The ability to audit Symposium 2019's sessions August 1-2

Registrants for the Fenway Park VIP Experience can expect:
- Motorcoach transportation to and from the Boston Park Plaza and Fenway Park
- Exclusive, WealthCounsel-only access to the Sam Adams Deck for watching the game, eating, and networking
- Admission for one (1) to the Boston Red Sox baseball game
- A ballpark dinner

Registrants for the Thompson Island Clambake on July 31st can expect:
- Motorcoach and ferry transportation to and from the Boston Park Plaza and Thompson Island

Please note that registration fees for the Companion Pass do not include the Fenway Park VIP Experience or access to any sessions or meals.
To modify or add sessions to your registration, please visit the link below and sign in with the email and password you used to register. Follow the prompts to the Agenda page to choose your sessions. Once chosen, click Continue to move through the end of the process and save your selections (and pay any additional fees that may have incurred with your choices). Please note that you are able to filter the agenda list to make specific selections by date or by session type.
All Symposium 2019 attendees will receive a copy of the Symposium 2019 audio recordings included with their registration. Recordings and instructions for downloading the files will be available to attendees approximately one month after Symposium 2019.
Sharing a registration is not permitted and prorated fees are not available.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
What is the cancellation / refund policy, and how do I cancel my registration?
If you would like to cancel your registration, please note refund policies below and contact memberservices@wealthcounsel.com, or phone 888-659-4069, ext. 818.
The following policy for refunds of registration fees on cancellation of Symposium 2019, Symposium’s Pre-Cursor Intensives, the Paraprofessional Symposium, and Excursions:
- In no event will refunds of registration fees be made in excess of the amount actually paid by the registrant for the registration.
- A registrant who cancels registration(s) on or before May 31, 2019, will receive a full refund of all registration fees.
- A registrant who cancels registration(s) on or after June 1, 2019, will receive no refund of any registration fees. 100% of the registration fee will be forfeited.
EXCURSIONS AND EVENTS
- Fenway Park VIP Experience on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 - Join us for an evening of baseball and networking. The entire Sam Adams Deck has been reserved for Symposium 2019 attendees to have an open bar, complimentary ballpark dinner, networking, and (of course) great seats to watch the World Champion Boston Red Sox play the Tampa Bay Rays. Transportation via motorcoach to and from the Park Plaza Hotel is included and tickets must be pre-purchased with your registration package. All attendees must be at least 21 years of age and those without a ticket will not be permitted to join the event. Suggested attire is casual. Please meet at 5:30 PM in the lobby of the Boston Park Plaza for departure.
- Thompson Island Clambake on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 - You’re invited to an exclusive appreciation reception for Symposium attendees on a private island! Spend the evening with fellow attendees and take in stunning views of Boston while you enjoy a clambake dinner, open bar, and the evening sky. Transportation via motorcoach and ferry to and from the Boston Park Plaza is included. All attendees must be at least 21 years of age and those without a ticket will not be permitted to join the event. Suggested attire is casual. Please meet at 5:30 PM in the lobby of the Boston Park Plaza for departure.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Perfectly position yourself to enjoy all of Symposium’s events in this AAA Four Diamond winning hotel. The Boston Park Plaza is located just steps from many of Boston’s most spectacular parks, sites and attractions, the theatre district and countless dining options.
Hotel amenities include a full-service concierge, a Starbucks conveniently located in the hotel, and access to Lynx Fitness—an expansive and contemporary health club offering 20,000 square feet of space and the latest in cardio and strength training equipment. Lynx also offers personal training and group fitness classes, as well as Boston’s first Topgolf Swing Suite.
The Boston Logan International Airport is just 15-20 minutes away from the Boston Park Plaza hotel. If you’re staying at the Boston Park Plaza and would like the hotel concierge to arrange a private car, please call the hotel and be prepared to provide your flight itinerary; a driver will be waiting for you in baggage claim. You can expect a taxi from Boston Logan International Airport to the Boston Park Plaza hotel to cost about $30. Ridesharing services, like Uber and Lyft, have variable pricing based on the time and weather.

Thompson Island Clambake: Weather-appropriate, festive, casual dress is encouraged. Please note that daytime temperatures on the island are quite warm and evening temperatures can dip quite low.

SYMPOSIUM 2020
During our three days of Symposium (July 31-August 2, 2019), you can earn up to 11.5 general credit hours (includes 2.25 Ethics and 1.5 Competence/MH), depending on your session agenda choices (some of your choices may not be CLE eligible). To earn CLE and receive a certificate of attendance, you will be required to enter CLE session verification codes through the Symposium 2019 APP. Please be on the lookout for those instructions by email. You can also inquire when you check in to the event on site.
During our Tuesday morning and afternoon Pre-Cursor Intensives, you can earn up to 2.5 credit hours, depending on your agenda choices (some of your choices may not be CLE eligible). If you are attending the all-day Massachusetts Forum Meeting on Tuesday, you will not receive CLE credit, as Massachusetts is not an MCLE required state, and no other states will be applied for.
Please note this does not include states for Pre-Cursor Intensives or Massachusetts Forum attendees, please see further down for their information. Please also inquire at the Help Desk when you check into Symposium 2019 on site.

Paraprofessionals at Symposium: You are invited to attend Symposium sessions on Thursday, August 1, and Friday, August 2 (Wed Symposium sessions not included, please attend Para Conference). You are required to enter verification codes of the CLE eligible sessions you attend, through the Symposium APP (you will receive instructions by email, or you can inquire at the Help Desk on site). These hours will be included on your certificate of attendance. If you are enrolled in a Para program, please self-apply and report.
Paraprofessionals at Tuesday Pre-cursor intensives: You are invited to attend Tuesday Pre-cursor Intensives and are required to sign in and out on the attendance sheet located in the respective course room. NALA Approved (The Paralegal Association): The Paraprofessional Conference, CLE eligible Tuesday Pre-cursor Intensives and CLE eligible Symposium sessions (Thursday and Friday only) are approved by NALA.
