Matt Nelson is the Managing Attorney of Olive Branch Law, where his practice focuses on helping families (including those with special needs) and business owners create estate plans that protect the people they love most.
Before establishing Olive Branch Law, Matt spent nearly twelve years serving as in-house commercial and data privacy counsel for large companies around the world. His legal experience includes commercial contract negotiation, data privacy compliance, and risk management.
Today, he leverages the strategic planning, document drafting, and problem-solving skills developed in the corporate world to help families and business owners make thoughtful decisions about their futures. Matt earned his B.A. in Finance from Auburn University and both his J.D. and M.B.A. from The University of Alabama.
