Cory Howes focuses his practice in estate and business planning as well as estate administration, probate and trust administration. In his estate planning practice, Cory assists successful professionals and business owners plan for and protect their families and assets by helping them make informed decisions, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, estate tax planning, asset protection strategies, charitable planning, and special needs planning. Cory began his career as a financial advisor with MassMutual, providing financial services to executive and professional clients, including employee benefit consulting services to businesses. Upon completing law school in 2008, Cory worked with a boutique litigation firm. In 2013, he opened Howes Law, PLLC, focusing his practice on estate planning for families and professionals. Today, Cory manages the Trusts and Estates division of the Forest Firm with office locations throughout North Carolina.
