The Transfer Tax Intensive and The Acronyms of Estate Planning precursors to Symposium 2024 will be offered Monday, September 23. The main event will begin with opening remarks at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, September 24, and conclude at 11:30 AM on Thursday, September 26.

This year’s agenda focuses on general sessions and breakout sessions that cover trusts and estates, elder law, special needs, business law, and practice building. You can view the full agenda. Note: the agenda is subject to change.

You will be given the opportunity to select the breakout sessions you would like to attend when you register for the conference. You will also be given the opportunity to choose and change your sessions in the conference mobile app, which will be available prior to the conference. 

Sharing a registration is not permitted, and prorated fees are not available.

All Symposium 2024 attendees will receive a copy of the Symposium 2024 audio recordings included with their registration. Recordings and instructions for downloading the files will be available to attendees approximately one month after Symposium. Please note that audio recordings are not suited for CLE eligibility; you must attend the live session to receive credit.

Materials will be made available prior to the start of Symposium 2024. 

The following policy applies to refunds of fees due to a registrant's cancellation of their registration for Symposium 2024 or Symposium's precursor intensive:

• No refunds of registration fees will be made in excess of the amount actually paid by the registrant for the registration.
• A registrant who cancels registration(s) on or before June 30, 2024, will receive a refund of all registration fees minus a $100 cancellation fee.
• A registrant who cancels between July 1, 2024, and Aug 11, 2024, will receive a refund of 50% of their registration fees. 
• A registrant who cancels registration(s) on or after Aug 12, 2024, will receive no refund of any registration fees. One hundred percent of the registration fee will be forfeited, but such registrants will be entitled to receive event recordings and materials.
• Tickets or tuition are not transferable to anyone outside of your firm.

Wheelchair and electric scooter rentals are available for a fee at the bell desk on a first-come, first-served basis for hotel guests. You may reserve a wheelchair or electric scooter through the concierge at the Bellagio by emailing conciergeservices@bellagioresort.com. You will need your hotel confirmation number to secure your reservation. A refundable deposit may be required. 

The 22 accessible Deluxe Rooms in the Spa Tower and 63 accessible Resort Rooms in the Bellagio Tower offer roll-in shower access, shower chair, lavatory rails, convenient closet shelving, and lowered amenities. Hospitality kits for the hearing impaired, as well as wheelchairs or electric scooters, are available through the concierge. In addition, Bellagio offers two rooms with Hoyer Handi-Move electronic lifts, which enable a person to move from a wheelchair to the bed, toilet, or shower bench without assistance. A light breakfast, lunch, and coffee during breaks will be offered Tuesday through Thursday. There will also be a networking reception on Tuesday with hors d'oeuvres available.

There is an opportunity to indicate any special dietary restrictions during the registration process. We will do our best to accommodate requests.

Symposium sessions and events are held at the Bellagio Las Vegas. Business casual dress is encouraged. Large hotel meeting rooms can often feel chilly, so you may want to bring a sweater if you tend to get cold. Please note that badges will be required for entry.

If you intend to make arrangements at other restaurants or entertainment venues outside of Symposium 2024, we recommend checking for any required dress codes.

A complimentary mobile app for the event will be offered again this year. Information for downloading the app will be provided prior to the event.

During our Precursors and three-day Symposium, you can earn CLE and/or CPE credit, depending on your session agenda choices (some of your choices may not be eligible). Please refer to the CLE Information page for further important information
