With the sunset of the currently high exemption amounts on the horizon, tax planning and mitigation strategies are becoming increasingly important for estate planners. The Transfer Tax Intensive precursor is a full day of learning with sessions designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the transfer tax concepts and mitigation techniques that are most relevant to estate planners. The Tax Intensive will cover foundational concepts, marital planning strategies, gifting and trust-based strategies to decrease the value of an estate, and practical guidance for Form 706 (Estate Tax Return) and Form 709 (Gift Tax Return).
